A Walk at the Zoo is Shades of Pink Foundation's signature fundraising event that takes place each April at the Detroit Zoo.
They welcome their walkers, survivors, and sponsors; share stories of why it matters to be a part of their Foundation; and showcase the importance of their mission.
Through the funds raised at this annual event, Shades of Pink Foundation has provided temporary financial assistance for over 1,000 individuals and their families throughout Southeast Michigan, helping them navigate the devastating financial costs of a breast cancer diagnosis.
