We introduce The KC Pink Hat. All proceeds for this hat will be donated to the Hurley Medical Center's Breast Cancer Navigation Program. This program financially assist patients during Breast Cancer treatments. Gas cards, grocery cards, rides, and co-pays for medications and treatment are provided for qualifying patients to help them concentrate solely on their health during this difficult time. \n \nThe Hurley Center has a special place in The KC Foundation's heart as this was where Kristy touched many lives. In her entrance essay for the University of Michigan she wrote "My entire childhood I was told how much I reminded everyone of my late grandmother, and I wished so badly I could have remembered meeting her when I was just a baby…instead she lives on in me every day as I fight against the disease that took her life. I knew very early on that I would try to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer…and I hope I am making her proud.".
